Lisa has been at the Tess Group for 10 years & sits on the board of directors. Lisa is at her best when working to create fresh business solutions and shares the same determined vision to offer high quality value to our clients.
Head of data & MIS
Lauren has over ten years of experience working in Further Education having started working in Administration and Audits for DWP contracts in Leicestershire. Since then, Lauren has developed a niche in understanding paperwork and ensuring learners are enrolled correctly. She is currently the Head of Data and MIS for The Tess Group, where she has been a key member since the beginning in 2009.
BUSINESS SUPPORT MANAGER
Shannon brings a wide knowledge of paperwork and contracts to her team, in her role as Business Support Manager and is an essential part of the team. She leads by example and will always go the extra mile to ensure learners are enrolled successfully on to their chosen programme.
Head of Finance
Briéd is an experienced accounts professional and certified FMAAT. She is passionate about providing financials that are relevant and meaningful to support business growth and protect profits. Briéd believes people are the key to driving success, valuing collaboration and teamwork above everything she does. Her demand for exacting standards and high expectations of her team are valued equally without exception.
HEAD OF PROGRAMMES
Martin has been with The Tess Group for over 8 years, and is our Head of Programmes. He is responsible for overseeing the management of a variety of our contracts by maintaining excellent links with our funders, clients, employers and learners. Martin looks after all curriculum and partnerships with Awarding Bodies.
FINANCE OFFICER
Emma has worked in the accounts environment for the last 5 years. Since joining TESS in 2017 her development has soared. Emma is very careful and considered in her work and at the same time manages to work at pace to keep up with the volumes of invoices to process!
Emma is also our Mental Health First Aider.
BUSINESS SUPPORT
Joining us when she had just completed her GCSE’s, Taz took her first step on the career ladder as a trainee recruiter. Placing several candidates in her time as a recruiter, Taz has refined her skills and progressed to the Business Support Team, where her attention to detail and dedication to her role are an asset to the team.
APPRENTICESHIP DELIVERY MANAGER
Stephanie is our Apprenticeship Delivery Manager and has been working in training for over 5 years. Previous to this, her entire career has been in Retail, working as Head of Retail for an Italian footwear brand and before that as Operations/Retail area manager for a high end international fashion brand. Her passion is training management and retail
QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD
Ian has worked within the education and training sector for 8 years. Ian has also managed a team of Trainer/Assessors/ Skills Coaches for over 4 years, ensuring that all Learners were receiving high-quality training and developing to their full potential. Ian has worked on supporting Northamptonshire’s unemployed to develop their Employability Skills.
TRAINER AND SKILLS COACH
Elaine has worked in training and learning for over 15 years and gained the majority of her knowledge working within the insurance industry. She has supported learners through a number of apprenticeships and has a passion for developing and supporting people to achieve success. Elaine is currently an Area Support and her passion is seeing people develop and move forward within their careers.
TRAINER AND SKILLS COACH
Kaley has 14 years industry experience in delivering apprenticeship programmes both classroom, and 1-2-1 workplace based, in Management and Leadership, Business Administration and Customer Service. Kaley is a qualified IQA and an experienced additional learning and social needs support tutor.

Mark has worked within sport and leisure for nearly 30 years and spent many years football coaching for Leeds United FC Academy and Foundation before spending 15 years in secondary school education as a PE teacher, Head of Vocational Courses and Quality Nominee. He linked sport and education together by developing a successful football academy partnership between the school and the club for 16-19 year olds. He has also been a Coach Educator for the FA and ventured into Rugby League working within the medical department at Castleford Tigers.

Ali has worked within the training sector for 16 years, as a tutor, coach, trainer and IQA. Ali has experience with delivering a range of different qualifications and levels, from Diplomas at level 2 to Standards at level 5. Her passion is to ensure her learners develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours and gain a great end result! She also has a work buddy that comes and joins her calls – look out for the Cat!

Jason has worked in the Education Sector since 2007 and gained Outstanding knowledge and skills in that time, he worked in the Ceramic industry for 17 years where he gained management experience. The reason Jason enjoys his job role is because his passion is to ensure that all his learners’ progress and develop through their apprenticeship and achieve a recognised qualification and their careers goals.

With over 17 years’ experience teaching English and Maths Kellie is dedicated to ensuring my learners have the best chance of achieving their qualifications. Since moving from classroom teaching to online in 2020 Kellie has welcomed a new addition to her family, Dottie the dog, who occasionally likes to make an appearance too!

Janice has worked in the Education and Training Sector for over 16 years, and has had various roles including a Tutor, Coach, IQA, EPA and as an Operational lead role. Janice has experience in delivering a wide range of qualifications including Diploma/Certificate and Standards up to a level 7. Her passion is to deliver knowledge and behaviours which will have an impact on the learning journey and support progress towards the learners chosen career pathway to success.
During his time with The Tess Group, Sherlock took his role as Stress Management Coordinator very seriously. He always brought an element of fun to the office whenever he was in, ready to greet everyone with a smile. The positive energy and enthusiasm that he showed epitomised our values and he will be sorely missed.

Rod Doyle is a modern leader who believes in creating winning ways and habits through a mixture of theory and common practices. Rod Doyle and the Senior Leadership Team have built a business with a 21st Century spin on branding by creating a ‘community of businesses’ that all interact and interconnect to the betterment of each.
FOUNDER
Retired from the police service having performed the role of Superintendent in charge of operations including the management of large sporting events and music festivals. Clive created a training company to ensure that safety staff were safety competent and skilled in customer service.
