Three free AI Leadership taster days.
A real look before you commit.
Built for senior leaders who set the agenda. No pitch, no obligation: a genuine, high-quality sample of one Skills England Level 5 AI Leadership unit, rather than committing to the full thing. Then put the people who actually do the work onto the fully funded AI and Automation Level 4. Ideal for 1 to 5 leaders per organisation.
Ofsted Good · 4.9 stars from 690 reviews · NCFE accredited · No obligation

Two layers, one organisation
A leadership layer that creates the champion, and a delivery layer where that champion sends the doers.
The taster day
1 to 5 leaders get a real feel for the curriculum in one free, six hour day. You leave with an NCFE workbook and an action plan. This is where the internal champion is made.
Closed AI Units cohort
A leadership group of 6 or more can run a closed cohort of the three Level 5 AI Leadership Units, £750 per learner per unit, fully funded through the Growth and Skills Levy, no EPA. Deepens the champion.
AI and Automation Level 4
The full apprenticeship for the people who actually build and run AI. Around £18k, fully funded for SMEs, 15 months, with an 8 month accelerated option. Where the volume and the value sit.
Reserve your place
Tell us which day suits and we will hold you a seat. We reply within one working day. You will join an open cohort of 25 to 50 leaders from across the UK, great for networking.

The taster days, answered
Are the taster days really free?
Yes. Each taster day is completely free and there is no obligation to buy anything afterward. The days are drawn from our Skills England Level 5 AI Leadership curriculum, so you get a genuine feel for the content before committing to anything.
Who should attend?
Senior leaders and decision makers: CEOs, MDs, directors and heads of function. The taster days are ideal for organisations sending 1 to 5 leaders. If you have 6 or more leaders to upskill, we can run a closed AI Leadership Units cohort for your team instead.
What will I leave the day with?
An NCFE workbook and a personal action plan. Each day also produces a practical deliverable: an AI Opportunity Map (Strategy), an AI Governance and Procurement Framework (Adoption and Governance), or a 90 day AI Transformation Playbook (Delivery and Transformation).
What is the natural next step?
Most leaders go on to put the people who actually build and run AI, their doers, onto the AI and Automation Practitioner Level 4 apprenticeship, which is fully funded for SMEs through the Growth and Skills Levy. Leadership teams of 6 or more can also run a closed AI Leadership Units cohort.
How is a taster day different from the full unit?
Each taster day is a six hour sample drawn from one of the three Level 5 AI Leadership units, so you experience the curriculum, the trainer and the format before committing. Taster days run as open cohorts of 25 to 50 leaders from different organisations, the networking is part of the value. The full units run as closed cohorts for your own leadership team, so we can get into the muscle of your organisation. The full unit is 30 hours over several weeks, formally assessed, £750 per learner and fully funded through the Growth and Skills Levy.
Is it online or in person?
All three taster days are live online, 9:30am to 3:30pm. You can join from anywhere in the UK.
Three free days. A real look. No pressure.
Reserve your place on the day that fits, and see for yourself what AI leadership done properly looks like.
