The primary apprenticeship qualification covering leadership, team management, communication, problem-solving, project delivery, and business understanding. Recognised across all sectors and portable for career progression.
Functional Skills
English & Maths (if required)
If you don't already hold GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 or above, you'll complete functional skills qualifications. These develop essential workplace communication and numeracy skills.

It's the only qualification you'll earn from this apprenticeship.
No. This programme is designed for both new and aspiring team leaders. Whether you're stepping into a leadership role for the first time or strengthening your existing skills, the 8-module structure builds capability progressively from foundation through to strategic leadership.
The apprenticeship is levy-funded via the Apprenticeship Levy at a cost of £5,000. For SMEs without levy balance, 95% government co-investment is available. There is no cost to the learner.
14 months on-programme (from first workshop to final assessment), plus End-Point Assessment (EPA). Total programme duration is approximately 16 months. The schedule is structured to fit around your working commitments.
Each month features a 6-hour live webinar, directed study resources, assignment tasks, progression tasks that build toward your portfolio, regular 1-to-1 coaching reviews with your skills coach, and wider skills development sessions (online safety, safeguarding, health and wellbeing, etc.).
Yes. All 8 workshops are delivered remotely via live webinars. This makes the apprenticeship accessible to teams across multiple locations or different regions. You also have asynchronous study resources you can access flexibly around your schedule.
After completing your on-programme learning, you'll prepare for EPA through a work-based project, portfolio, and mock assessments. The EPA typically includes a presentation or interview with an independent assessor reviewing your knowledge, skills, and workplace application against the ST0384 standard. Your skills coach supports you throughout.
