Designing a useful copilot
Scoping a copilot that solves a real problem, the most common reason builds fail is starting with the tool, not the task.
Go beyond using Copilot to building with it. Learn to create custom copilots and AI agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio, as a focused workshop, or built into a levy-funded apprenticeship where your team ships real agents against real work.
If your team has got value from Microsoft Copilot and now wants to build something tailored, custom copilots for your help desk, your policies, your processes, Copilot Studio is the tool, and knowing how to design, connect and govern an agent safely is the skill that makes it pay off.
Hands-on, build your first copilot in a day.
Build and deploy real agents, funded by your levy.

Yes. TESS trains UK teams to build custom copilots and agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio, as a hands-on workshop or built into a levy-funded AI apprenticeship where your people ship real agents over the programme.
A standalone workshop is a commercial investment and is not levy funded. The same build-and-deploy skills inside the AI and Automation apprenticeship are levy funded for levy payers and government funded for most SMEs.
No. Copilot Studio is a low-code tool, so your existing team can build with it. The real skill is designing, connecting and governing a copilot well, which is exactly what we teach.
Custom copilots grounded in your own data, with conversation topics and connected actions, for example a help-desk copilot, a policy assistant, or an agent that handles a repetitive internal process, deployed into Teams or your website.
Copilot training is about using Copilot productively; Copilot Studio training is about building your own copilots and agents. Many teams do the first, then progress to the second. We cover both.
Tell us the problem you want a copilot to solve and we will recommend the right route, a fast workshop or the funded apprenticeship.
