Prompting that gets results
The difference between a vague request and a precise brief, the single biggest lever on Copilot output.
Get your UK team genuinely productive with Microsoft Copilot, as a focused workshop, or built into a levy-funded apprenticeship so the skills actually stick. Practitioner-led, tailored to how your people really work.
The reason matters. Industry data shows 88% of organisations rely on informal, one-off AI learning, and the result is that fewer than 5% of employees use AI in genuinely advanced ways even though most claim daily use. A single workshop creates awareness. Building capability against real tasks creates change. For a step-by-step walkthrough, see our guide on how to train your team on Copilot. We offer both, and we will tell you honestly which one fits your goal.
Fast, practical, tailored to your tools and sector.
Lasting capability, funded by your apprenticeship levy.
Copilot is only as good as the person driving it. We teach the skills that turn it from a novelty into a daily multiplier.
The difference between a vague request and a precise brief, the single biggest lever on Copilot output.
Real workflows in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook, drafting, summarising, analysing and meeting prep.
An intro to building simple agents that handle repetitive tasks, with a clear route to the deeper apprenticeship.
What to put in, what to keep out, and the governance basics so your team uses Copilot without creating risk.
Tailored examples for HR, finance, operations, sales and marketing, not generic demos.
The follow-up and accountability that turns a training day into a lasting change in behaviour.
For the full detail on what your levy covers, see our guide on how to use your apprenticeship levy for AI training, or check your own numbers with the Levy Maximiser.
Yes. TESS delivers Microsoft Copilot training for UK organisations, either as a focused workshop (live online or in person) or built into a levy-funded AI apprenticeship where your team learns Copilot against real work over time. Both are tailored to your tools, sector and use cases.
A standalone Copilot workshop is a commercial investment and is not levy funded. The same skills taught inside the AI and Automation apprenticeship are levy funded for levy payers and government funded for most SMEs. The funded route is the apprenticeship, not the one-off workshop.
Effective prompting, Copilot across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook, an introduction to Copilot agents and Copilot Studio, safe and governed use, and department-specific use cases for HR, finance, operations, sales and marketing.
The workshop runs as a half or full day, live online or in person, tailored to your team's calendar. The apprenticeship route runs over the length of the programme with coaching throughout. We will recommend the right format on a short call.
Because a one-off event creates awareness, not capability. Industry data shows most AI learning is informal and that very few employees reach advanced use. Building Copilot skills against real work, with coaching and accountability, is what changes behaviour, which is why we offer the apprenticeship route alongside the workshop.
Tell us your goal and we will recommend the right route, a fast workshop or the funded apprenticeship, with a clear plan for your team.
