Is dropping from L5 to L4 a step backwards?

On paper, technically yes, but the content depth in our active L4 is meaningfully higher in the AI/automation dimensions that genuinely matter to operations leaders right now. Talk to your reward team about how this lands on band placement.

Will my existing L5 apprentices still complete?

Yes, existing learners complete on the standard they started. The defunding only affects new starts after the cut-off.

What about CMI/ILM recognition?

CMI Level 5 chartered status is separate from apprenticeship funding. We provide the documentation to support CMI recognition where appropriate.

Can mixed cohorts work, some L3, some L4?

Yes, we routinely run mixed-level cohorts where the shared content is one block and the level-specific content runs alongside.
