What you'll cover

Four CMI units (indicative), meeting the Diploma's 37-credit rule of combination.

Units 531–534 are the coaching pathway CMI also maps to the Coaching Professional apprenticeship standard. Each is delivered live online, supported by a named tutor and assessed against CMI's Level 5 standard. Final unit selection is agreed per cohort within CMI's rules of combination (minimum 3 units, 37 credits, 370 TQT).

What professional coaching is and is not, the ethical and contracting foundations, and the models that underpin credible practice. 6 credits.

532 · The Role of the Professional Coach

The knowledge, skills and behaviours of the professional coach, and how the role operates inside an organisation. 9 credits.

533 · Strategies for Delivering Professional Coaching

Planning, structuring and evaluating coaching assignments, and the tools and strategies that make sessions land. 7 credits.

534 · Professional Coaching Practice

Real coaching with real coachees: two coaching assignments of at least three sessions each (60–90 minutes), with observed practice and work-based evidence. 15 credits.
