The End Point Assessment Process

End Point Assessment

  • Assessment method 1: Written dissertation report with presentation and questioning
  • The Dissertation: You must produce a written report of 4,000–4,500 words.
  • The A3 Summary: You must include a one-page A3-style visual summary that conveys the key messages of your dissertation.
  • The Presentation: A 45–50 minute presentation to an Independent Assessor,
followed by 35–40 minutes of Q&A. You must demonstrate how your project
delivered tangible business benefits and aligned with the organisation’s long-term
    goals.

Assessment method 2: Professional discussion, underpinned by a portfolio of
evidence

  • This is a formal, two-way conversation between you and the assessor. The Portfolio of Evidence relates to the evidence gathered during your time on the programme (project reports, feedback, meeting minutes, etc.) that proves competence and understanding.
