The purpose of this qualification is to confirm occupational competence and provide learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding required to take up roles within the stewarding and spectator safety sector. This qualification aims to:

• focus on the study of the stewarding and spectator safety industry
• offer breadth and depth of study, incorporating key knowledge
• provide opportunities to acquire a number of practical and technical skills.

The objectives of this qualification are to help develop skills and competence to:

• prepare for spectator events
• assist with the movement of spectators and deal with crowd issues at events
• manage and resolve conflicts
• deal with incidents at spectator events
• support the work of your team and organisation.

What are the Progression Routes after the course is finished? Spectator Safety Level 3 & Spectator Safety Level 4

* Eligibility Criteria: Learners must be over 16 and have the right to work in the UK. Learners must also
show evidence of: attending the Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) eLearning counter terrorism training,
