Too Busy to Think? The busyness trap coaching solves.

From a live TESS coaching session with trainer Jamie Chambers · captions included

“Doing everything keeps us so busy that we never have enough time to stop and think about what is really important to us. That's the beauty of coaching.”

Look, if everything is a priority, then nothing is a priority. Because we don't know what is really important to us, everything seems important. And there's a trickle-on effect to this. Because everything seems important, we feel we have to do everything. What's the trickle-on effect of that? Other people, unfortunately, see us doing everything. So, guess what? They expect us to do everything. Doing everything keeps us so busy that we never have enough time to stop and think about what's really important to us.

That last point, on the bottom left of the screen: doing everything keeps us so busy that we never have enough time to stop and think about what's really important to us. That's the beauty of coaching, isn't it? It gives people the opportunity to stop and think about what's really important to them, because a lot of us operate so fast that we just don't have the opportunity to do this.
