No. Training can be delivered remotely by any DfE-approved provider in England. TESS Group is Ofsted Good rated and delivers live, interactive training via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, with no requirement for a physical office in Guildford.
Government funding for new starts on Team Leader L3, Operations Manager L5 and Coaching Professional L5 ended on 1 September 2026. The AI and Automation Practitioner Level 4 (ST1512) is not on that list. AI for Team Leaders, AI for Operations Leaders and AI for Coaching Professionals are open routes for the same people, each with a CMI credential as a complimentary add-on. Funding for those routes depends on levy status and apprentice age.
